We are delighted to invite delegates to the second edition of Holding the Space: Shining a Light on Black Academics - a conference created to centre Black scholarship, research, intellectual community, and collective futures.
Last year, over one hundred scholars, practitioners, and students came together to share research, lived experience, and sector hopes. The energy, care and intellectual depth of that day is still with many delegates today, and you can see it in the video above.
In a sector where Black knowledge is too often marginalised, minimised or extracted, Holding the Space exists to do something different:
to hold space for rigour, creativity, healing and excellence.
